what is a bottom fix toilet seat

A toilet seat base is an important part of every toilet. A substructure ensures the stability and good fit of a toilet seat.
Depending on the type of construction, a substructure can be made of different materials, such as plastic, wood or ceramic. Most types of bases for toilet seats are made of robust plastic.
There are two types of substructure variants: a top assembly and a bottom fix toilet seat assembly.
Top assembly:
Top mounting is the most common base type for toilet seats.
During top mounting, the toilet top part is pressed into the pre-drilled holes in the toilet bottom part using the fastening screw. Once this is done, the toilet seat can be placed on the top and secured.
What is a bottom fix toilet seat assembly:
The bottom assembly is also known as the substructure. The base is the part that is mounted on the toilet and is firmly connected to the ceramic part. This is an important part of the entire system, as the base is responsible for the stability of a toilet seat.
The advantage of bottom mounting is that you will not see any mounting screws on the toilet seat once the toilet seat is attached. The base is hidden on the underside of the toilet seat and therefore looks more attractive.
Bottom mounting is also a safer mounting method. The top assembly mounting screws can become loose over time, causing the toilet seat to wobble or even fall. This is not the case with bottom assembly.
A toilet seat base unit is an important addition to a safe and stable toilet. A bottom mount is the best choice as it is safer and makes your toilet look more attractive.
